Job Location:Kings Cross, Karpo Restaurant/Megaro Hotel
Your role To work in every section (excluding pastry). To deliver dishes across breakfast, all day, bar, event & conference menus consistently and to an exacting standard. To bring ideas to the Head Chef & Sous Chef, to be a spirited, dynamic and engaged team member, to strive to learn and develop and grow. • To run and successfully manage a department / section i.e. Fish, Meat, Pastry, Larder • Mise En Place • Ensure that the reputation and quality of the food offering is sustained and improved all the time • Food service, handling and production should be done to the highest standards, thus creating a consistently high standard quality. We are looking for experienced individuals with a passion for delivering attentive service, and who will help achieve our vision to develop an environment of contemporary, diverse and unparalleled hospitality. Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a luxury restaurant environment • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels • A good team ethos is important, along with the ability to develop other individuals within that team.
